Golf Tournament Fundraiser Honors the Life of Kim Owens and Supports PNH Research
On a warm and sunny day in Kissimmee, FL, team members from Cody Pools, American Pools and Spas, and Cody Pools Tampa FL gathered at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club for a meaningful day of remembrance and giving. The company-wide golf tournament was held in loving memory of Kim Owens, a beloved member of the American Pools and Spas team who tragically passed away due to Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH).
A Day of Connection, Competition, and Giving Back
The event began with morning registration, boxed lunches, and a short welcome message, followed by a group photo to mark the occasion. With a “Shotgun Start,” players headed out onto the course for 18 holes of golf. The tournament featured fun and friendly contests including the Longest Yard, Closest Shot, and a Putt Contest.
Throughout the day, players and volunteers came together not just to enjoy the game but to celebrate Kim’s life and raise funds for a cause close to our hearts—research and awareness for PNH.

Closing the Day with Celebration and Support
